Ball State University has again been recognized among the nation’s best for online education, with six programs ranked in the top 25 of U.S. News & World Report’s 2026 “Best Online Programs” listings. Ball State’s nationally ranked online programs include:
- No. 8 — Business analytics (MBA concentration)
- No. 11 — Master’s in Special Education
- No. 13 — Master’s in Educational Administration and Supervision
- No. 14 — Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- No. 15 — Master’s in Curriculum and Educational Technology
- No. 25 — Bachelor’s in psychology programs (Applied Behavior Analysis)
Ball State also earned additional national rankings in the 2026 listings:
- No. 29 — Bachelor’s degrees
- No. 30 — Master’s in Nursing
- No. 32 — Master’s degrees in education programs
- No. 47 — Bachelor’s in business programs (Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, and Logistics and Supply Chain Management)
- No. 49 — Master’s degrees in information technology programs (Computer Science and Information and Communication Sciences)
In addition, Ball State was recognized in U.S. News’ 2026 “Best Online Programs for Veterans” rankings:
- No. 26 — Master’s degrees in education programs
- No. 51 — Bachelor’s in business programs
