Welcome Week is a favorite Ball State tradition that signals the start of a new academic year. This week, nearly 6,500 students moved into the university’s nine residence hall compexes, with lots of help from their families and friends, and the hundreds of volunteers from dozens of campus groups that are always willing to lend a hand.
Freshmen were treated to a great event at Worthen Arena on Thursday night, where they learned the school’s fight song and got introduced to all that Ball State athletics has to offer.
This weekend brings the start of Late Nite, and on Sunday, the Freshman Convocation.
Classes officially begin Monday. Here’s to a great year!
