Elizabeth Richter presents the fascinating story of one of the oldest and most beautiful musical instruments found throughout the world. She will perform examples of music written for the harp as it developed over the past millennium.

Elizabeth is Professor Emerita of Harp at Ball State University School of Music, where she was a faculty member for 38 years. During her time at BSU the harp program grew to become one of the largest and most well-known in the United States, and its graduates have become successful performers and university teachers. She has performed with many orchestras, presented master classes at colleges and festivals in the US and abroad, and has been honored by the American Harp Society for her contributions to the harp world.
