Development of an AI Model for Coastal Trash Detection
Artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning are revolutionizing diverse fields—from medical diagnostics to finance and academic admissions. But can they help tackle environmental challenges?

In this engaging presentation, Dr. Finch will explore how AI can be applied to environmental research, specifically in identifying and classifying coastal waste from photographic data. By improving the accuracy of waste classification, researchers and policymakers can develop more effective strategies for mitigating pollution and preserving our ecosystems.

Learn how AI is shaping the future of environmental conservation and gain insights into the power of machine learning in real-world applications.
