Dr. David Roof is an associate professor in the Department of Educational Studies, where he currently serves as the Director of the Center for Economic and Civic Learning. David has led projects dedicated to fostering civic engagement, advancing education, and supporting democracy. His role as Principal Investigator includes managing the U.S. Department of Education-funded project, Civic Renewal through Education for Agency, Tolerance, and Engagement, which focuses on promoting active citizenship and democratic values.
