Dual-Credit (Secondary)

Not Yet a Teacher?

If you have a bachelor’s degree in a STEM field but aren’t yet a teacher, please see our fellowship program.

If you teach dual credit courses in a STEM subject in Indiana and need to complete graduate STEM courses, you can meet those requirements through our academy’s program for licensed teachers.

STEM teachers who wish to participate must currently teach in either:

  • underserved Indiana school corporations
  • Indiana schools experiencing a shortage of qualified STEM teachers

All participants in the Hoosier STEM Academy will also be invited to participate in the Hoosier STEM Academy Mentoring Conference in Summer 2022.

You can select courses that use online, blended, and/or distance education instructional designs, as well as traditional face-to-face options.

Upon completion of a course with a grade of C+ or higher, you will receive a $1,500 stipend to help cover the cost of:

  • tuition
  • fees
  • materials
