If you want to strengthen and broaden your science-related major
with an environmental-focused minor, then Ball State’s Minor in Environmental Management
is an excellent choice. Our program is designed to enhance your career
opportunities in a variety of settings, including regulatory agencies (Federal,
State, County, municipal), health departments, environmental consulting,
industry, and NGOs.

What You Will Learn
As a student, you will gain current knowledge of a range of
environmental issues, for example air, water and soil pollution; how to assess the
quality and ‘health’ of the environment; cleanup of contaminated environments;
pollution prevention; environmental law; and other topics.
You will develop skills in environmental analysis and scientific
investigation that will complement your major.
