Facility Closures through June 30

In alignment with updates and recommendations from the CDC, State Department of Health, and the City of Fishers, the Ball State Fishers Center will remain closed to classes, events, and meetings through June 30. We plan to slowly reopen July 1st with revised protocols to ensure the health and safety of all visitors and staff.

COVID-19 and Ball State University's Response

Ball State University plans for face-to-face instruction to begin on August 24, as scheduled. Before then, the University will take several steps to advance the health and safety of students, faculty, staff, and campus visitors. Please review our plans and additional resources for further details.

What We Do

The Ball State Fishers Center for Academic and Economic Innovation serves as a bridge connecting university resources with community priorities and initiatives, resulting in a mutually beneficial collaboration to enhance the economic, environmental and social vitality of Hamilton County.

Are you looking to get into or grow in a highly demanded profession? Would you like the convenience of taking some of your classes from a convenient location in Fishers, Indiana?

Our center hosts classes for several popular academic degrees and certifications that Ball State offers:

  • master’s in emerging media design and development
  • EdD in administration and supervision
  • graduate certificate in public administration
  • master’s in information and communication sciences

You may also enroll in a non-degree certified public manager training program, offered through our Bowen Center for Public Affairs.

Or, if you’d like to enrich your personal life with additional educational opportunities, consider either the Educational Wine Series or Entrepreneurial Book Club that we’re introducing in Spring 2019.

Find a Program

We collaborate with our alumni and community partners through programs such as Launch Fishers, the Youth Mentoring Initiatives, and many more.

You may partner by mentoring a Ball State student, hiring us for consulting work, or creating an internship for our students.
