ROTC is
the Army's Reserve Officer Training Corps--a program that prepares
college students to earn commissions in the United States Army as
Second-Lieutenants upon graduation by teaching them "the science of
warfare and the art of leadership". To learn more about ROTC,
click on the ROTC shield below. The Shield, worn by all ROTC
cadets and cadre from every Army ROTC program around the country and
territories of the United States, is divided into quarters
representing each of the four traditional Military Science courses.
Our Motto is "LEADERSHIP EXCELLENCE".
The Army
ROTC program at Ball State University is looking for quality
students, athletes, and leaders capable of leading America's Army.
In order to do so, we stress the importance of living the Army
Values. These seven core values are LOYALTY, DUTY, RESPECT,
SELFLESS SERVICE, HONOR, INTEGRITY, and PERSONAL COURAGE.
