Bachelor's Degrees

Undergraduate programs in Ball State University's College of Architecture and Planning prepare students for exciting professional careers in the environmental design and planning fields. They produce graduates who can communicate clearly, who have field experience, and who can move directly into quality jobs.

These programs require serious commitment and good time-management skills. Courses are intensive and demanding, requiring many hours of work both in and out of the classroom. Studio courses are particularly challenging as students synthesize and apply knowledge developed in other courses for solving hands-on design projects.

Most of these programs also require an internship in a professional office or public agency. Field trips, study-abroad opportunities, and community-based projects provide other valuable experiences.
