Late night television host David Letterman's remarks were the much-anticipated highlight of a late afternoon ceremony that included a formal ribbon cutting and the unveiling of a bronze plaque acknowledging his professional success, as well as his continuing commitment to Ball State students as longtime benefactor of the David Letterman Scholarships.
