Members of the Ball State and area communities are invited to sketch and draw "en plein air" at the Rinard Orchid Greenhouse this Saturday.

Wynton Marsalis playing trumpetNow in its 15th season, the Arts Alive! Concert Series presents world-renowned and award-winning musical ensembles and artists. The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis (JLCO) comprises 15 of the finest jazz soloists and ensemble players today. This Ball State Centennial event features two separate 75-minute performances. The 7 p.m. performance is currently SOLD OUT, however a wait list is available through the Emens Auditorium Box Office. Limited tickets are still available for the 9 p.m. performance.

Rodney CarringtonRodney Carrington is a multi-talented comedian, actor, singer and writer who recorded eight major record label comedy albums, which have sold millions of copies. Rodney then released three new albums on his own record label called Laughter’s Good Records. An album of new songs and material entitled Laughter’s Good debuted at Number One on the Overall Comedy Charts. The same week, the re-release of Rodney Carrington Live debuted at Number Two on the Overall Comedy Charts. He then went back into the studio to record The Hits which also reached number one on the comedy charts. The album features a duet with Colt Ford.
