The world is the classroom for Abby Shemoel, '11, a landscape architecture major, a finalist for the prestigious Rhodes Scholarship, and a Udall Scholar. Abby is passionate about finding solutions to environmental and social problems created by urban growth. Her curiosity has led her to study urban landscapes and sustainability issues in Europe, Argentina, Costa Rica, and Brazil. Abby has also worked on sustainability plans for Ball State (through Building Better Communities Fellows) and for a Muncie firm.
