One-Time Event programs are opportunities for students to engage in community service activities without the level of commitment that is required from a coordinated or independent program. One-time event volunteers are required to volunteer only for a specific date and for a short amount of time.

Examples of annual one-time events sponsored by Student Voluntary Services (SVS) include the Fall Festival, Fall Leaf Raking, and Angel Tree during the fall semester, and the Dr. Seuss Literacy and Arts Fair, Lend-A-Hand Day, and Spring Luau during the spring semester.

SVS also sponsors the Second Saturday Service Projects. Every second Saturday of the month, students come together to learn about the history of a nonprofit agency and its contribution to the Muncie community before going on-site to complete a service project.

In addition, SVS will list several one-time events throughout the year that are supported, but not sponsored, by SVS.
