Half-Time and Full-Time Students: Students are eligible for counseling services during the academic year if they are a continuing half-time (undergraduate, six hours; graduate, five hours) Ball State student enrolled at the time services are provided. Students are eligible for counseling services during the summer sessions if they are either enrolled in classes during the time that services are provided or have been enrolled during Spring Semester and are registered for Fall Semester classes. Enrolled incoming freshmen or transfer students are eligible for counseling services one month prior to the first day of classes. Students are eligible for one month of counseling services following graduation or their last day of enrollment upon withdrawing from the university.

Students Enrolled Less than Half-Time: Students are eligible for all services except individual therapy if they are registered for less than six semester hours for undergraduate students and five semester hours for graduate students, i.e., intake and referral; emergency services; and groups.

Faculty/Staff: Faculty/staff are eligible for consultation and referral.
