Job fairs don't have to be daunting. With a little preparation and focus, job fairs can be the gateway to your new career. We'll show you how to research employers and develop strategies for maximizing your time at the job fair. We'll also discuss ways to engage and communicate with employers during the fair.

This workshop will help you explore resources and search strategies for finding works by composers from a variety of backgrounds and cultures while also investigating the concept of a canon. How do we learn about composers and works excluded from the traditional canon of Western classical music? Who decides what belongs in the canon in the first place?
