University Libraries WorkshopLocating and securing project funding is becoming increasingly competitive. University Libraries and the Sponsored Projects Administration (SPA) are combining forces to provide an overview of searching for funding opportunities, resources for your search, ways to build collaborations, and how Library resources can be used to support your scholarly endeavors. Participants will join us remotely. These sessions are designed to be interactive. We encourage participants to follow along on their laptops or tablets, and ask questions in real time.

"Halloween: Celestial Origins"What do you associate with Halloween? Trick-or-Treating, costumes… astronomy? After all, Halloween is an astronomical holiday! During this program you will learn the history of Halloween and how it fits into the seasons as a “cross-quarter day.” We will also explore the night sky and learn what planets, constellations, and stars will be out on your Halloween evening.

Woodwind musicians performingUnder the direction of Thomas Caneva, Ball State's top two concert bands present a series of concerts each year featuring a wide range of music. Tickets available for purchase in person or online through the College of Fine Arts Box Office starting August 1. This concert will also be livestreamed.
