Deborah Ojo will give a presentation on her country of origin, Nigeria! The Federal Republic of Nigeria is the official name of Nigeria. Nigeria is located in West Africa and shares a land border with Benin, Chad, Cameroon, and Niger.The capital city of Nigeria is Abuja, replacing Lagos as in 1991, and Lagos is the largest city with an estimated population of 20 million people. The highest point in the country is the mountain called Chappal Waddi. It is about 7,936 ft.

Jazz musicians performing on stageRalston C. “Morgy” Craig, was an outstanding solo saxophonist who worked on a variety of projects with the Ball State band program in the 1950s and 1960s. Come enjoy a night of standard jazz favorites and original compositions for big band at this annual concert. Tickets available through the Emens Auditorium Box Office.
