Kris Molloy will give a presentation on her country of origin, New Zealand! New Zealand is located in Oceania. Mountainous New Zealand is made up of two large islands as well as Stewart Island. New Zealand’s geography includes glaciers, fjords, mountains, plains, hills, forests, volcanic plateaus, and sandy beaches. The Hobbit andother famous movies have been filmed there.

Saxophonist Walter SmithThe Ball State Jazz Ensembles have performed around the world. Come enjoy a night of standard jazz favorites and original compositions for big band. The guest artist is saxophonist Walter Smith III and Mark Buselli directs the ensembles. Tickets available through the Emens Auditorium Box Office.

Artist and activist Mahogany Browne presents her unique brand of performance poetry, which "bridges the gap between lyrical poets and literary emcee." Browne is a co-organizer of Black Poets Speak Out, and her books include Dear Twitter and Redbone (nominated for an NAACP Outstanding Literary Works award).
