Heightened levels of stress and anxiety are common responses to collective widespread negative events, such as the current global pandemic due to the outbreak of COVID-19. In this presentation, participants will learn practical ways to implement self-care into their lives. Self-care is also known as strategies for providing adequate attention to one's physical and psychological wellness, and in this presentation participants will gain knowledge surrounding the nature of stress and anxiety, as well as become educated on simple, time-effective ways to use self-care in order to decrease the prevalence of these unwanted emotional states.
Register by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org and the Zoom link invite will be sent to you. Working Well is excited to bring this series to Ball State faculty and staff through a collaboration with the Ball State Counseling Practicum Clinic in the Department of Counseling Psychology, Social Psychology, and Counseling.
