As part of our campus-wide efforts to support our first year students in the first 6 weeks of the semester, the Office of the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs has asked faculty members to share their best tips, techniques, and resources for teaching first year students. The panels will connect the six success factors (Directed, Focused, Nurtured, Engaged, Connected, Valued) as determined by the Retention and Student Success Committee to purposeful teaching and course design.
