Ball State University Libraries and the Friends of the Alexander M. Bracken Library are excited to offer a program about a dynamic, interdisciplinary immersive-learning project involving art, elementary education, science education, book publishing, and children's literacy.
Ball State faculty from the School of Art and Department of Biology and students from the School of Art and Department of Elementary Education have created a series of children's books about wildlife conservation. In this program, the team will share how they collaborate to develop Conservation Tales and discuss outreach and education activities to help community members engage with the books.
Presented by Barbara Giorgio-Booher, Assistant Professor of Art; Tom J. McConnell, Associate Professor of Biology; and students
