On this date, incoming first-year students living on campus that have been admitted and confirmed to the University will be able to select their bed space in the residence hall with the Living-Learning Community that correlates with the major they've declared through the University.
Prior to this date, students should have received an email via their Ball State email address notifying them of their assigned date and time, also known as a timeslot, to log in and select their housing accommodations for the upcoming year.
Please keep in mind that the Self-Selection timeslots and building availability are based on several criteria, one primarily being the date students pay their $125 housing deposit (in the housing application).
