Have you ever wondered who takes care of maintaining the plants in the traffic median downtown? Or who is in charge of the flower planters along Walnut Street, as well as the flower pots in front of various downtown merchants? Or who put up the hanging flower baskets on the Washington Street bridge? Or who maintains the Fireman’s Park? Or who designed the cantilevered walkway on Wheeling Avenue as well as 5 overlooks along the White River? The answer is not some department of our city’s government. It is Community Enhancement Projects or CEP, a private non-profit group dedicated to the beautification of Muncie and Delaware County. Join Rick Zeigler, President, of CEP, as he discusses these and many other projects undertaken by this organization.
The Association of Lifelong Learners (ALL) is a group of retirees and community members interested in continuing to learn and engage with each other on a variety of educational topics.
