Dr. Kris Rugsaken will lead a discussion panel on this program, created jointly between Ball State University and several universities in Thailand to improve the English language skills for Thai college students. This program started in 2003 with one university, Prince of Songkla University, in southern Thailand and eventually expanded to include six other Thai public universities. In its first few years, camp teachers were Ball State faculty and students with a few Muncie community members. But later camp teachers came from different parts of the United States and Canada. ALL members who have participated will sit on the panel and share their experiences.
