Dining Alone is an exploration into the deconstruction of empathetic instincts assigned
to age, fragility, youth, and isolation. Addressing the inherent drama and comedy
attached to food, Dining Alone invites you into the bittersweet and private moments that
are amplified by the experience of dining.
This event is made possible by Ball State University's Arts Alive Series, presented by the
College of Fine Arts.
Tickets are free for Ball State students. All others may purchase tickets at the Emens Box Office or online.
Event parking is available in the garages after 6 p.m. on the evenings of events (with 7:30 p.m. start time).
The closest and recommended parking is available in the McKinley Avenue Parking Garage (behind Sursa Hall; across the street from Emens) at McKinley and Ashland Avenues.
The New York Parking Garage is located to the east along New York Avenue.
The Student Center Parking Garage near McKinley Avenue and Gilbert Street is an additional option that frequently has a shuttle bus drop off.
Due to changes in our campus layout, the Emens Parking Structure no longer exists.
There may be a nominal cash fee for parking in these structures.
For many events, handicap parking will be reserved in the lot to the east of the Health Professions Building off Riverside Avenue. For many Emens season events we offer a shuttle cart for patrons unable to walk the distance. Call the Emens box office at 765-285-1539 to confirm availability.
