Set on the cusp of the United States discovering its cultural, scientific and religious identity after the Civil War, and inspired by the true story of the Cardiff Giant, THE GIANTMAKER follows George Hull and his efforts to pull a fast one on a preacher. With the attention, George manages to settle grievances at the expense of the public, fleece honest businessmen, and involve many of the notable minds of his time.
