Set in 1900 Sweden, Stephen Sondheim’s musical, based on the Ingmar Bergman film Smiles of a Summer Night, explores the tangled web of affairs centered around actress, Desirée Armfeldt, and the men who love her: lawyer Fredrik Egerman and the Count Carl-Magnus Malcom. When all the players agree to spend a weekend in the country at Desirée’s mother’s estate, infinite possibilities of new romances and second chances bring endless surprises.
A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI. www.MTIShows.com
