The Ball State Symphony Orchestra is an exciting all-student orchestra that performs music from all genres and time periods. The orchestra is led by Director of Orchestras Douglas Droste.


This concert will feature this year's Undergraduate Concerto Competition Winners: clarinetist Rachel Jordan and saxophonist Kendell Fowler.

  • Carl Maria von Weber - Concerto No. 2 for Clarinet and Orchestra, Op. 74 (Mvt. 1)
    featuring Rachel Jordan, clarinet
  • Roger Boutry - Divertimento for Alto Saxophone and Orchestra
    featuring Kendell Fowler, saxophone
  • Ludwig van Beethoven - Symphony No. 9 in D Minor, Op. 125 (Mvt. 1)


General Admission is $5. One free student ticket with ID in advance at Emens Box Office, or $5 at the door.
