The Ball State Symphony Orchestra is an exciting all-student orchestra that performs music from all genres and time periods. The orchestra is led by Director of Orchestras Douglas Droste.
Program to include:
- Libby Larson - Deep Summer Music
- Henri Tomasi - Concerto for Trombone and Orchestra
*Assistant Professor of Trombone Chris Van Hof, soloist
- Sergei Prokofiev - Romeo and Juliet Suite No. 2 (selected movements)
- Leonard Bernstein - Symphonic Dances from West Side Story
The performance of the Bernstein will be in celebration of Bernstein at 100, the world-wide celebration of the 100th birthday of the famed composer, conductor, educator, musician, cultural ambassador, and humanitarian.
General Admission is $5. One free student ticket with ID in advance at Emens Box Office, or $5 at the door.
