Guest saxophonist Walter Smith III is recognized as an adept performer, accomplished composer, and inspired educator. Originally from Houston, Smith now resides in the Los Angeles area where he leads ensembles in a number of different configurations for performances from trio, quartet, or quintet.

General Admission is $5. One free student ticket with ID in advance at Emens Box Office, or $5 at the door.

As a part of the Saxtemberfest series of events, Walter Smith III will also give a master class at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 27 in Room 117 the Hargreaves Music Building (MU).
