Bob Eason is currently an Associate Instructor of Saxophone at Indiana University and a doctoral student studying with Otis Murphy. He has performed with the Jacobs School of Music Wind Ensemble under the direction of Stephen Pratt and is the soprano saxophonist of the award-winning Kenari Quartet. He holds a master’s degree in saxophone performance from Indiana University and a bachelor’s degree in music education from The University of Houston. Throughout his accomplished career as a chamber musician, he has won top prizes at the Coleman Chamber Music Competition (2014), J.C. Arriaga Chamber Music Competition (2013), Plowman Chamber Music Competition (2008, 2013), Chesapeake Bay International Chamber Music Competition (2014), and the Fischoff Chamber Music Competition (2011, 2013, 2015).
