Born and raised in Ireland, baritone Conor Angell joined the music faculty at Taylor University in the fall of 2013. An award winner in the 2013 Chicago Oratorio Competition and 2013 American Prize in Vocal Performance, Angell has received additional awards in the Heafner-Williams Vocal Competition, and National Association of Teachers of Singing Competition, among others. He holds a doctorate from Indiana University's Jacobs School of Music and has sung with the Kentucky Opera, Opera North, and the Brevard Music Center.

Program to consist of Franz Schubert's Die schöne Müllerin (1823). He will perform with pianist Margaret Hammond, and Ball State alumna Patricia Robertson (MM '89, DA '98) will share her research and insights into the work at the beginning of the program.
