It's One Ball State Day at the planetarium and we are celebrating with daytime shows and eclipse glasses distribution!

When: Wednesday, April 3, from 11:30am – 6:30pm* (glasses will be available during these times and the show schedule is listed below)
Who: Everyone is invited! Community friends, families, students… everyone!
Cost: FREE. Space is limited, and seating will be done on a first-come, first-served basis.
Where: The Charles W. Brown Planetarium and Cooper Science Building
Parking: Free public parking is available in lot P14 at the Welcome Center this day for planetarium programs. Paid parking is available at the McKinley Avenue Parking Garage and there is metered parking available off Riverside Avenue, west of the planetarium (note that this street parking is not managed by Ball State University.)
Shows: 40-minute planetarium shows for various ages. Doors open 10 minutes before showtime.
- 11:30am – One World, One Sky: Big Bird’s Adventure (Best suited for families and groups with pre-K through 1st grade learners, all ages are welcome.)
- 12:30pm – Earth, Moon, & Sun (Best suited for families and groups with kids, all ages are welcome.)
- 4:30pm – Eclipse: The Sun Revealed (More advanced content for all ages 9+.)
- 5:30pm – Live Sky Tour (All ages welcome.)
*One Ball State Day is up online all day, from midnight to midnight!
