Asteroids lack the name recognition of planets. And they aren't mixed up in the controversy that keeps dwarf planets in the news. But they are incredibly interesting objects to study. In the next few years, spacecrafts will return asteroid samples to Earth and new missions will launch to study more asteroids. Right now, there are telescopes scanning the sky for these tiny worlds. So, what's all the fuss about? Join Justin Bartel, astronomer from Science Museum of Virginia, for a whirlwind tour of the solar system's smaller members and the big stories they have to tell.
