Lecture Title: BIG in the Public Realm

Named a 2019 Forefront Fellow, Autumn Visconti is a Senior Landscape Architect with Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) in New York.

At BIG, Visconti leads the East Side Coastal Resiliency (ESCR) and the Brooklyn-Queens Park (BQP) projects. Her approach has been devoted to building projects through a clear and concise methodology in better preparing cities and communities for climate adaptation. This direction evolved into designing and developing climate resilient strategies for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) with the Rockefeller Foundation’s “100 Resilient Cities Centennial Challenge” alongside the national Rebuild by Design and the Mississippi River Delta Changing Course competitions.
