Wetland Restoration Workshop on Oct. 12-13
Ball State University’s Field Station and Environmental Education Center proudly hosts this hands-on workshop to demonstrate practical, lowcost techniques to create or restore natural and native wetland habitats. Participants learn to select appropriate locations, test soil texture, choose appropriate construction techniques, work with heavy equipment operators, and select and establish native wetland plants.
Internationally renowned instructor, Tom Biebighauser, teaches wetland restoration workshops worldwide. Participants actively engage in design and construction of natural-appearing and functioning wetlands.
