The Campus Orchestra, an ensemble comprised of students from across campus, is led by graduate student conductors. Program to include music by Antonín Dvořák, Edvard Grieg, Richard Wagner, and Giacomo Meyerbeer. Free and open to the public.
Set on the cusp of the United States discovering its cultural, scientific and religious identity after the Civil War, and inspired by the true story of the Cardiff Giant, THE GIANTMAKER follows George Hull and his efforts to pull a fast one on a preacher. With the attention, George manages to settle grievances at the expense of the public, fleece honest businessmen, and involve many of the notable minds of his time.
In its fourth year, The New Play Initiative features a new student-written play chosen from submissions, and then developed throughout the spring semester in collaboration with the playwrights, director, dramaturg, and actors. Join us for a story from the next generation of artists
