The GiantmakerSet on the cusp of the United States discovering its cultural, scientific and religious identity after the Civil War, and inspired by the true story of the Cardiff Giant, THE GIANTMAKER follows George Hull and his efforts to pull a fast one on a preacher. With the attention, George manages to settle grievances at the expense of the public, fleece honest businessmen, and involve many of the notable minds of his time.

New Yorker Matt Beilis was born with his distinct voice. Some would say it’s unconventional, which would fit the personality of this singer/songwriter/pianist. Matt traded in his Ivy League education-along with a lucrative finance career--for a gig in a piano store, betting that his artistic talents would propel him beyond the comfort that his academic achievements all but guaranteed.

The New Play InitiativeIn its fourth year, The New Play Initiative features a new student-written play chosen from submissions, and then developed throughout the spring semester in collaboration with the playwrights, director, dramaturg, and actors. Join us for a story from the next generation of artists
