Kaitlyn ParkKaitlyn is a 2012 alumna of the Ball State Entrepreneurship program and recently returned to the Midwest after a 7-year stint in the Silicon Valley startup scene. As an entrepreneurship senior, she traveled to represent the program and was an award winner in 5 national business plan competitions. Her post-graduation goal has been to explore as many career opportunities as possible and refuse complacency. This has earned her a diverse industry background, highlighting full-cycle roles in sales, marketing, and customer success management. Her experience in the rapid-growth organization enables her to take an advisory approach to her career. She currently serves as an Enterprise Customer Success Manager in the cybersecurity field. Kaitlyn focuses on finding a balance between her customer-centric corporate life and her new small business venture, Basic B Bakery.

Lunch and Learn Beyond the Worksheet Resources for Active Learning in the University LibrariesJoin us for an introduction to the large and unique collection of 3D materials in the University Libraries to support active learning. The collection includes models, games, puzzles, educational toys, and examples of cultural items from around the world. Previously kept in a closed collection, the 3D items are now accessible and browsable. Join us to see examples of items and learn about ways create engaging learning experiences in all grades and disciplines.

This event will feature a panel of graduate students who will answer questions and discuss how they navigate life in grad school. Students who are interested in graduate school and students who will be starting graduate school in the fall are encouraged to attend.
