The gender gap in entrepreneurship is closing—but not fast enough. Women entrepreneurs are making strides globally, yet men are still 1.6 times more likely to be self-employed. This talk will share key insights from economic research on gender gaps in entrepreneurship, and explore the causes behind these gaps, the influence of markets and economic institutions, and the crucial role of culture.
