Tunnel of Oppression is an opportunity for individuals to experience a snapshot of the kind of oppression that people with historically marginalized identities may experience on a daily basis.
Join Fifth House Ensemble for an interactive session on building arts integrated activities in the classroom that fuse arts-based core curricular learning goals and standards. Members of Fifth House will share sample classroom and assembly activities from their work in public schools and social service settings, as well as student outcomes observed through evaluation and research. Learn the basics of arts integration, and practice creating activities that develop cross-disciplinary thinking and support diverse learning styles. This workshop is free and open to the public.
