Find articles, books, and more for your music history or music theory paper. The Music Refresher Workshop is designed to help both graduate and undergraduate students review music databases and resources for coursework or thesis proposals and learn what's new. Amy Edmonds, Ball State University Libraries' Music Librarian, will answer your questions and share tips for successful searching. Registration is suggested but not required.
Join this livestreaming presentation of the University Libraries’ resources and services for online students. As an online student, you have access to the full range of library resources and services, including database access, course reserves, interlibrary loan, and research assistance. You will receive instructions by email for accessing the event online shortly before the event begins.
Are you looking for ways to measure the impact of your publications and research? Join us for an introduction to scholarly metrics. We will cover selected traditional and non-traditional tools to quantify the reach of your scholarship. Topics will include Journal Impact Factors and where to find them, the h-index, ORCIDs, and more. We will discuss alternative metrics, or “altmetrics,” and suggest different tools that can be used for seeing how much engagement your work is generating.
