This workshop is packed with advice about the research process for creative projects or theses in architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning, historic preservation, construction management, or interior design. Learn about research tools and strategies that will help you compile sources for your literature review. You’ll learn to get the most out of OneSearch and databases such as the Avery Index to Architecture Periodicals, make use of Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery services, and find thesis projects in Ball State University’s institutional repository, Cardinal Scholar.
This workshop will introduce basic concepts that musicians need to know, such as site license, derivative works, and fair use. Participants will learn how to manage copyright for their original works and where to find additional information. Note: presenters will not give legal advice.
