University Libraries WorkshopIn this workshop, attendees will learn about digital scholarship in the classroom. First, we will explore using existing digital scholarship in course readings, including examples. We will discuss various concepts, including digital native, literacy, and multiple learning styles. Then, we will look at digital scholarship production as a class assignment. Attendees will hear examples from other scholars and students about their experience with digital scholarship in the classroom and what advice they may give to others looking to incorporate it into future courses.

Create private invitation-only surveys, or go public with crowd-sourced surveys. Learn how to create a beginning-to-end workflow for designing and implementing surveys in the field, conducting them, and geotagging the results to incorporate into your GIS.
