When someone says "government data," the agency that comes first to many minds is the Census Bureau. However, the Bureau of Labor Statistics is a prolific collector and disseminator of data too, offering a wealth of information and insight into employment and the economy in the U.S. Come to this workshop to learn how to gather data about employment, unemployment, pay and benefits, consumer expenditures, time use, and more using the Bureau of Labor Statistics' online tools.
In this hands-on session, attendees will learn how to open existing and new ArcGIS Pro projects, locate toolbars and windows within the software, set the appropriate coordinate system for maps, add base maps and provided feature layers, and save project files. If attending via zoom, attendees will need to have ArcGIS Pro installed on their computer. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for installation files and instructions.
