Percussion Ensemble I is under the direction of Braham Dembar, assistant professor of music performance (percussion). Program to include works by Robert J. Damm, Ivan Trevino, John Alfieri, Joe Green, Christopher Deane, Thomas Gauger, and Ben Taubert. Free and open to the public.
This recital will feature the students of Mihoko Watanabe, professor of flute. Free and open to the public.
Orpheus must travel through heaven and hell to rescue Eurydice in this comedic and satirical twist on the tragic Greek myth. Sung in English, the performances will include full sets, costumes, and chamber orchestra under the stage direction of Jon Truitt and conducted by Cara Chowning.
