Transfer Your Credits

Determine how your credits will transfer to Ball State by using some of these resources: Visit campus or schedule an appointment with our Transfer Center, apply to Ball State and gain access to our DegreeWorks system, explore credit transferability of common core courses among Indiana's state colleges, or learn about the Transfer Single Articulation Pathway (TSAP) to transfer as a junior from Ivy Tech Community College or Vincennes University.

Flight Paths

Our Transfer Flight Paths will connect you with a staff member who can guide you through your academic journey from your current school to your future at Ball State.

Academic Grading Options

Ball State will accept any credit that appears on a transcript as Passing, Satisfactory, or Credit for the Spring 2020 semester. However, some Ball State courses may or may not be taken as Credit/No Credit (CR/NC), and these courses are determined by a student's program of study. If you have a course transferring to Ball State without a grade on your transcripts and the department requires a specific grade, please work with the program’s academic advisor to determine if there is an alternative way to prove competency for the course. See Academic Grading Options for Spring 2020 Semester.
