Working with an Admitted Student?

On our pages for admitted freshmen and admitted transfer students, we guide them step-by-step through the transition and also show them what to expect in their first year at Ball State. We'll provide the resources and support they need to succeed from day one.

Self-Guided Tours

Our self-guided tours provide an opportunity to browse our campus while listening to an audio recording of a current student leading the way. Each tour lasts about 30 minutes. Download the materials below or stop by the Welcome Center in Lucina Hall, where we’ll explain the tours and provide a parking pass for our P14 lot (weekdays only).

Videos for New Freshmen and Transfers

Our video guides answer questions that first-time freshmen and transfer students have about our application, the test-optional decision, financial aid, housing, and more. Watch our videos and share them with your students.

How to Use Slate.org

To serve you and your students the best we can, we have begun using a tool called Slate.org. This powerful and free tool allows us to communicate more effectively with our applicants' high schools in a variety of ways.

Transfer Flight Paths

Our Transfer Flight Paths have been designed for Indiana residents to pursue their academic goals at Ball State by starting at a community college. These pathways are designed for students to demonstrate their ability to do college coursework while attempting to keep them on pace for completing their academic goals. Students at Ivy Tech Community College and Vincennes have several options for transferring to Ball State using one of our Transfer Flight Paths. Learn more about transferring to Ball State.
