Working with an admitted student?

On our Admitted Student page, we will guide them through a step-by-step process to assist with the transition and show them what to expect in their first year on campus. We'll provide the resources and support they need to succeed from day one.

Upcoming Events

Effective March 14, Ball State will no longer offer campus visits or group visits for prospective students and groups due to Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).

Summer campus visits will resume on August 31, 2020. Once they are posted, you can schedule a campus visit for this Fall online or by calling 800-482-4BSU (4278).

Email Communications

The Office of Admissions has been and will continue to communicate important updates regarding COVID-19 to high school counselors via email. On March 26, 2020, we sent updates to high school counselors in our email newsletter. Additional end of school year updates were sent on May 29, 2020 in another email newsletter.

Transfer Flight Paths

Our Transfer Flight Paths have been designed for Indiana residents to pursue their academic goals at Ball State by starting at a community college. These pathways are designed for students to demonstrate their ability to do college coursework while attempting to keep them on pace for completing their academic goals.

Students at Ivy Tech Community College and Vincennes have several options for transferring to Ball State using one of our Transfer Flight Paths. Learn more.
